Set up your camera

Phone where the batter would stand, about 3 metres away at knee height, facing you.

Your whole body, head to feet, needs to be in the picture. The coach will remind you if it can't see you.

How to do it

  1. 1Crouch low with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
  2. 2Stay on the balls of your feet, heels just off the floor.
  3. 3Put your gloves together in front, touching the ground.
  4. 4Keep your head still and your eyes level.
  5. 5Hold the crouch, ready to spring up.

What the coach watches for

  • Get lower

You weren't low enough. Crouch down so your gloves can touch the ground.

  • Feet wider

Your feet were too narrow for good balance. Spread them about shoulder-width.
