Set up your camera

Phone at hip height, about 3 metres away, filming you from the side.

Your whole body, head to feet, needs to be in the picture. The coach will remind you if it can't see you.

How to do it

  1. 1Turn so your back faces the player you are blocking.
  2. 2Spread your feet wide and sit your hips low and back.
  3. 3Keep your chest up so you can see the ball.
  4. 4Hold your arms out wide to the sides.
  5. 5Stay strong and hold your spot.

What the coach watches for

  • Sit lower

You weren't low enough. Sit into a wide, low base to hold your spot.

  • Chest up

You bent over. Keep your chest up so you can see the ball.
